Osteopathy at home during pregnancy and after birth
When you're pregnant or have a new baby, getting to a clinic can feel impossible. I come to you, so you can be treated in comfort and book around feeds, naps and appointments.
How I can help
Osteopaths are trained to work safely with pregnant women and new mothers. I can help with the same everyday problems I treat in anyone, including:
Back pain
Neck and shoulder pain
Generalised aches and pains
Tension and difficulty relaxing
Alongside treatment, I give practical advice on posture, lifting, feeding positions and getting back to exercise at a pace that suits you.
Treatment adapted to you
During pregnancy, I adapt your treatment position to keep you comfortable at every stage. After birth, sessions fit around your baby, and your baby is welcome to stay in the room. I'll always ask about your pregnancy and birth, and if anything needs your midwife, health visitor or GP, I'll tell you.
Booking a postnatal session
Most mums start once they've had their six-to-eight-week check with their GP. If you'd like to start sooner, get in touch first and we'll talk it through.
"Luke is fantastic as always and now helping with back pain during my pregnancy. I would highly recommend him!"
