Privacy notice
This notice explains how Hamlet Osteopathy collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Who I am
Hamlet Osteopathy is run by Luke Tuohy, a registered osteopath (General Osteopathic Council no. 9664). I am responsible for your information (the "data controller"). You can contact me at luke@hamletosteopathy.co.uk or on 07831 537930.
Hamlet Osteopathy is a trading name of Osteo-Flow Ltd, which is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number ZC278090).
What I collect
Your contact details: name, address, phone number, email and date of birth.
Booking and payment details. Payments are handled by a secure payment provider, and I don't see or store your full card details.
Health information you share with me, and the clinical notes I make during your care.
Your GP's details, if you choose to give them.
Why I use it
To arrange and provide your treatment, keep accurate clinical records as my regulator requires, take payment, contact you about your appointments, and meet my legal, insurance and regulatory obligations. I don't use your information for marketing without your permission, and I never sell it.
I use your information because it's needed to provide the care you've asked for, and to meet my legal obligations. Health information is handled for the purpose of providing healthcare, by a registered health professional bound by a duty of confidentiality.
Who I share it with
Only when needed: your GP or another health professional, with your consent (or if there is a serious risk to your safety); the services that help me run the practice, such as my booking and payment systems, secure storage, and an AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) that I use to type up my clinical notes from my own dictation; and my insurer or regulator if the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Your records are stored securely and kept for as long as professional guidance for health records requires, then securely deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to request a copy of your records. You can also ask me to correct anything that's wrong, ask me to delete or limit the use of your information (although I may have to keep clinical records for a set period), and object to how it's used. To make a request, email luke@hamletosteopathy.co.uk. I'll respond within one month, and there's normally no charge.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please contact me first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
